Patsy Cline, Hank Williams, Buddy Holly, Chuck Berry, Johnny Cash and Buck Owens are brought to life along with present day artists like Emmylou Harris, Merle Haggard, Linda Ronstadt, Dwight Yoakam, Rosanne Cash, and Mary Chapin Carpenter.
The songs that 309 Express perform are rooted in early rock and roll, classic country, and Americana music that came out of both Nashville and the West Coast in the 60’s – 80’s. Our shows feature music from the Bakersfield Sound and the 70’s California country and folk rock era.
309 Express performs a crossroads of Country, Rockabilly, Folk, Rock and Blues that gets audiences of all ages singing, dancing, clapping and toe-tapping along to their jukebox favorites.
